Junior Golfer Nelson Named Behrend Athlete of the Week
Joe Nelson, a junior on the men's golf team, was named the AMCC Golfer of the week by the league office on Monday, September 15, 2008.

Penn State Behrend junior golfer Joe Nelson (Warren/Warren) has
been named the ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week for the
week of September 15, 2008.
The blue and white took the Pitt-Bradford Invitational over the
weekend. Nelson lead the blue and white to a tournament
victory shooting a 74. The Behrend Lions blue team shot a 314
as a team to lead the 13 team tournament. The white team
finished in seventh place with a score of 332.
The blue and white are in action today at conference rival Penn State Altoona. They will then compete in the Allegheny Invitational on Sunday, September 20th. The Behrend Lions will then host the Behrend Invitational on September 25th at Peak-N'-Peek.
