Conley Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. - Junior center Russ Conley (Transfer, PA/Reynolds) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week.

Conley led the way for the Lions during a 1-1 week, narrowly missing two straight double-doubles.  On Thursday, Conley scored a team high 11 points while pulling down nine rebounds in a 65-58 loss to Lycoming.  The following day, Conley paced Behrend with a game-high 19 points to go along with 11 boards in a 64-59 win over Rutgers-Newark.

On the week, Conley shot 52.6 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the charity stripe. Conley is averaging a team-high 15.1 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game on the season.

The Lions will be back in action on Wednesday to take on D'Youville. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
