Men's Soccer Ranked in NSCAA Great Lakes Region Poll

The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team is ranked in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Great Lakes Region Poll that was released on Monday, September 14.

The Behrend Lions, under seventeenth year Head Coach Dan Perritano, have started the season 3-1-1.

Behrend has logged wins over Geneva, Buffalo State, and Geneseo. The blue and white lost in the finals of the Fredonia State Tournament this past Saturday to a talented Blue Devils team by a 2-1 margin.

Up next, the blue and white will host Grove City on Wednesday, September 16 at 4:00 p.m. on the Behrend Fields. League play begins this weekend when AMCC foe Frostburg State travels to Erie for a women's and men's doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Last season, Frostburg defeated Behrend 2-1 in Maryland during the regular season, however the blue and white bounced back with a 1-0 in the 2008 AMCC semifinals.
