More Postseason Honors for Men's Soccer
Seniors Aaron Meehl and Kyle McKinney have been named 2011 ECAC Division III South Men’s Soccer First-Team All-Stars after completing a successful season.
ERIE, Pa. – Seniors Aaron Meehl (North East, PA/North East) and Kyle McKinney (Chesterland, OH/West Geauga) have been named 2011 ECAC Division III South Men’s Soccer First-Team All-Stars after completing a successful season.
Meehl was third on the team with 16 points on six goals and four assists. Meehl was also named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Great Lakes third team and Scholar All-East Region Team. Meehl surpassed 50 career points and 20 career goals during the season.
McKinney wrapped up his career by scoring one goal and tallying three assists. McKinney was instrumental for the Lions’ defense throughout the year and during Behrend's postseason run to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) championship and bid to the NCAA tournament. McKinney is tied for first all-time in career games played.
