Kyle McKinney enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s soccer programs after a successful four-year career with the Lions.

A three-time AMCC selection and a captain in his senior year, McKinney helped the Lions capture the 2011 AMCC Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament. He also led Behrend to three ECAC appearances, winning the title in 2009. McKinney finished his career with four goals and 10 assists, while being tied for first all-time in games played. He was named AMCC Rookie of the Year (2008), ECAC Division III South First-Team All-Star (2011) and was honored with the Tommy Sieg Inspirational Award (2011).

McKinney earned his undergraduate degree in finance and accounting, and will pursue his M.B.A. at Behrend.
