Behrend Swimming & Diving Women Handle Buffalo State, Men Tie
The Behrend swimming and diving team hosted Buffalo State in the Junker Center Pool. The Behrend Lions entered the meet coming off of a win over Bethany College where both the men and women took impressive wins. The Behrend women earn a 120 to 92 win over the Bengals, while the men's team tied at 120.

Last season Buffalo State defeated the Behrend women 119 to 110, while the Behrend men earned a 141-96 victory.
Behrend's Krystal Kovach (Scott Township/Chartiers Valley) sets both a pool and school record in 3 meter diving with a score of 262.10
The blue and white's 400 medley relay team of Anne Lawrence (State College/State College), Julie Cook (Warren/Warren), Katie VanEpps (Pleasantville/Titusville), and Danielle Wilson (Pittsburgh/Plum) placed first in 4:26.44. All four women also earned first place points in individual events.
On the men's side, Terrance Watterson (Pittsburgh/Brentwood) and David Jesberger finished first and second in the 1650, and scored additional points in the 500 yard freestyle.
The Behrend Lions will be on the road tomorrow as they take on St. Vincent College at 1:00 p.m. They will be back in the Junker Center pool on November 15, as they take on Allegheny College at 1:00 p.m.
