Graves has been named the diver of the week seven times throughout the season.

In what has been an almost weekly event the Behrend divers have once again been named the AMCC athletes of the week for the week of January 19, 2009. Divers Krystal Kovach (Scott Township/Chartiers Valley) and Stephen Graves (McMurray/Peter's Township) have both won the award for the fifth time in six weeks.

The Behrend Lions took on the Frostburg State Bobcats in the Junker Center Pool on Saturday, November 22. Both the Behrend men and women earned victories as the women finished the bobcats 106 to 89, and the men snagged a 115-105 win. The Behrend men were led by sophomore Ben Strunk (Cogan Station/Williamsport) who placed first in the 200 yard IM in 2:17.46, and freshman Steve Zomcik (Kersey/St. Marys) who was a double winner in both the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle.

The Behrend Lions entered the meet coming off of a win over Bethany College where both the men and women took impressive wins.
