Penn State Behrend's Blackstone Earns AMCC Tennis Player of the Week
Leading the Behrend Lions was sophomore Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/Pine-Richland). Blackstone was named the AMCC tennis player of the week for the week of March 16.
The Behrend Lions traveled to Hilton Head, South Carolina during spring break. The blue and white would go 1-4 on their trip to South Carolina.
Leading the Behrend Lions was sophomore Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/Pine-Richland). Blackstone was named the AMCC tennis player of the week for the week of March 16. Blackstone would win two number one double matches in Hilton Head. Blackstone would also take a 3-2 number one singles record over the five matches.
Blackstone was named the AMCC tennis player of the week two times a season ago as well as being named the co-player of the year.
The Behrend Lions will begin a five match home stand as they start AMCC play looking to defend their conference title from a year ago. The blue and white will take on Pitt-Bradford on March 21 at 3:00 p.m. and then Pitt-Greensburg on March 24.
