Ronson Mazany Named Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week

Penn State Behrend sophomore Ronson Mazany (Ashville, NY/Panama Central) has been named the Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the week for the week of March 2, 2009.

Mazany was a key member in the Behrend Lions third place finish at the Marietta Open this past weekend.  The blue and white would finish with 103 points just 10.5 points behind second place Marietta. 

Mazany would win both the long and triple jump at the 17 team meet.  His long jump mark of 6.62 meters would qualify him for the ECAC meet.  Mazany would also qualify for the ECAC meet in the triple jump with a 13.67 meter mark.  The jump would give Mazany the Behrend school record and first place for the blue and white.

The Behrend Lions will take part in the ECAC championships on March 6-7 and finish the indoor season at the NCAA championships on March 13-14 at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
