Robert J. Kane Invitational Results
The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team competed at the Robert J. Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University on Saturday afternoon.
ITHICA, NY - The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team competed at the Robert J. Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University on Saturday afternoon.
In the 4x800m relay, the team of Kevin Lai (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood), Shane Hill (Pittsburgh, PA/West Allegheny), Anthony Munion (Oakmont, PA/Riverview), and Billy Cvecko (Erie, PA/McDowell) finished with a time of 8:35.29. The time was good enough for sixth place.
Cvecko then turned to the 800m run. The sophomore came in at 1:59.24 for 11th place. Denis Lydon (Plum, PA/Plum) also finished 11th in the 3000m run. Lydon set a school record with a time of 8:56.12.
First-year performer Conor MacMannis (Fredericksburg, VA/Kubeszki) continued to build on his strong season. MacMannis took 12th in the high jump with a height of 1.84m.
The Lions will be back in action on Saturday. Behrend will travel to Gambier, OH for the Kenyon Invitational at 12 p.m.
