ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball senior middle hitter Trenton Munk (Baden, PA/Ambridge) has been named to the 2017 ECAC Division III South Region All-Star Team.
Munk is earning his fourth post-season honor on the All-ECAC first team, after being selected the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Year and to the All-AMCC first team in addition to the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Conference second team.
This season, he ranked second nationally in blocks per set (1.20) while leading the AMCC and being in the Top 15 for hitting percentage (.398). Munk led the team with 277 kills and 114 blocks to break the all-time record in both categories.
He registered double-digit kills in 16 matches, three of which he did not record an attack error. Munk also tied a career high with 20 kills against Mt. St. Vincent and made a season-best eight blocks at Wilkes.
