Veit Named CWPA Rookie of the Week

Freshman Kody Veit has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Southern Division Rookie of the Week.

ERIE, Pa. - Freshman Kody Veit (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division Rookie of the Week.

Veit led the Lions to their second win of the season on Saturday at the Claremont Convergence Tournament.  Veit netted five goals and tallied one assist, one steal, and one kickout drawn in the 12-9 overtime victory over Caltech.

This marks the first time in school history that a men's water polo player has been named the Southern Division Rookie of the Week.

Behrend will travel for two matches on Saturday against Salem and Washington and Jefferson.  The first match will be at 12 p.m. with the second following at 8 p.m.
