Bio
Casee Piquet will be entering her third season coaching the Penn State Behrend softball team after finishing an exceptional four year playing career at Gannon University.
Piquet, an offensive powerhouse in college, will bring her talents to assist the Lions in any way possible. She has spent time coaching the 18u and 12u Valley Extreme in Courtland, Ohio and as a volunteer coach at Mercyhurst Preparatory High School.
On the field, Piquet earned a starting role as a freshman for the Golden Knights when the squad ranked No.16 in the country. That same year, she was named to the 2007 ALL-GLIAC honorable-mention team. Piquet holds 13 spots in the program’s record books including fourth in triples, fifth in doubles, sixth in total bases and 10th in all-time games played.
Piquet, from Newton Falls, Ohio, graduated from Gannon University in 2010 with a B.S. in sports and exercise science and a minor in coaching and women’s studies.
