Kacie Burns enters her third season as an assistant coach for the blue and white this fall. Burns was a four-year standout for Behrendat the midfield position from 2002-2005.

Burns, a three-year captain for the blue and white, played in 78 games for the Behrend Lions leading the program to a 48-28-6 overall record. The three-time All-AMCC performer ranks eighth all-time for games played. With Burns on the pitch, Behrend finished as the AMCC runner-up on three occasions, and advanced to the ECAC Tournament three times.

Most recently, Burns spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Chatham University with the women's soccer program.

Burns earned her degree in GAS from from Behrend in 2006 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham in 2008.  She is a doctor of physical therapy at the Village at Luther Square.
