Anne Lawrence Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Anne Lawrence (State College/State College) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A Car Athlete of the Week for the week of January 25, 2010.

Lawrence put together a solid performance in the non-conference swim meet against Washington and Jefferson on Saturday, January 23.  Lawrence won the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:24:68.  Lawrence went on to finish second in the 200 yard backstroke and in the 100 yard butterfly.  The sophomore also was part of a third place 200 yard medley relay team.

The Penn State Behrend Lions dropped two meets this past week to Chatham University and to Washington and Jefferson.

The Penn State Behrend swimming and diving teams will be on the road for their next contest which will be held at Grove City College.  On Saturday, January 30 the blue and white will be at the Junker Center Pool for a meet against Mount Union.
