Behrend's Ogden Named AMCC Volleyball Player of the Week
Penn State Behrend senior middle hitter Sheila Ogden (Grove City/Grove City) was named the AMCC Volleyball Player of the Week on October 12. Ogden surpassed 1,000 kills for her career during a week in which the blue and white posted a 3-1 mark.

City/Grove City) was named the AMCC Volleyball Player of the Week
on October 12. Ogden surpassed 1,000 kills for her career
during a week in which the blue and white posted a 3-1 mark.
Ogden surpassed the 1,000 kills milestone with six winners on
Wednesday, October 7 in a key AMCC win over the Pitt-Bradford
Panthers. She then posted 38 more kills over three matches at
the SUNY Corltand Invitational over the weekend. Ogden now
has 1,042 kills for her career, ranking fourth all-time in the
Behrend record books.
Head coach Phil Pisano said, "Sheila has been putting the ball away
consistently for the past four seasons. She knows how to
score points and has been tremendously reliable and a big factor in
our success these past four years."
Behrend is currently 14-6 on the season and hits the road for a
match at AMCC opponent D'Youville on October 14 before returning to
the Junker Center to host conference opponent Mt. Aloysius on
Saturday.
