Five Minutes With Head Water Polo Coach Joe Tristan

1.  What are your thoughts on your team after beginning your season out west?

I am very excited for the season.  We played some of the toughest competition in the country and the girls were able to bring home a lot of great qualities. 

2. Who is performing particularly well for the team right now?

Senior goalie Jenna Zeyfang is performing very well in the cage.  She has really stepped up her game in her final season.

3.  What is the focus on for the next couple weeks of training and competition?

Our focus now is on our two regional tournaments and our championship and to be competitive throughout the rest of the season.

4.  How does the league look this season?  How do you think you will do against conference competition?

With the new Division III Conference, the competition looks to be very challenging.  However, I believe we will contend for a good spot at the championships and will look to be competitive.

5.  What are your expectations for the end of the season and championships?

The expectations are to play the best games we can play to place us as high as we can climb.  If we do that, I believe we will have a successful season.
