Jenna Zeyfang Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Jenna Zeyfang (Erie/Erie First Academy) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week for the week of April 12, 2010.

Zeyfang and the rest of the Behrend Lions women’s water polo team recently competed at the CWPA Regional Tournament.  She stepped up big for her teammates all weekend long and played a vital role in their two victories.  In the overtime win against Chatham, Zeyfang collected nine saves and recorded three steals on her way to securing a victory for the blue and white.  She also played a key role in the overtime win versus Utica College as she kept the Behrend Lions in the game throughout and came up with big saves late in the contest to prevail for the win.  The senior has collected 106 saves on the year and has registered 12 saves.      

The Behrend Lions will host the Mercyhurst Lakers on Tuesday, April 13 at the Junker Center Pool.  The blue and white will remain at home as they will take on Chatham on Saturday, April 17.
