Five Lions Recognized by ACWPC
Five members of the Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team were recognized by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic list.
ERIE, Pa. – Five members of the Penn State Behrend women's water polo team were recognized by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic list and the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Varsity Scholar-Athlete Team.
Lindsay Musoleno (Hatfield, PA / North Penn) was honored on the outstanding level. Emily Spicher (Falls Creek, PA / DuBois), Paula Rusca (Chicago, IL / Whitney Young), and Casey Bickings (Waterville, VT / Lamoille Union) were all named on the superior level. Amanda Gorman (Moon Twp., PA / Moon) rounded out the Behrend recipients with a spot on the excellent level.
As a team, the Lions finished the season ranked 13th in the country for team grade point average.
The All-Academic list includes those athletes from Division I, II, and III. The three levels of outstanding, superior and excellent are based on grade point averages of 3.71-4.00, 3.41-3.70, and 3.20-3.40 respectively.
