Two Behrend Women's Cross Country Runners Named All-Conference
The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team recently saw
two of its runners named to the 2009 All-AMCC team. Junior
runner Emily Berry (Reno, PA/Rocky Grove) and
sophomore runner Jenna Fatica (Erie, PA/Villa Maria) were both
selected to the All-AMCC team by a vote of conference
coaches.
This is the third straight season that Berry has been named to the
squad. For Fatica, this is her second consecutive selection
to the all-conference team.
The Behrend Lions women's cross country team earned a third place
finish this fall behind champion Franciscan and runner-up Frostburg
State.
At the conference championship meet Berry finished in eleventh
place overall (27:19.1) while Fatica came in at fourteenth
(27:31.3). Berry's time was the fourth-best finish by a
junior in the race, while Fatica had the third-best time for a
sophomore.
Fatica will now continue competing for the blue and white as a
member of the Penn State Behrend track & field team.
