Bertges Named ECAC Runner of the Week

Catie Bertges has been named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Cross Country Division III South Runner of the Week.

ERIE, Pa. – Catie Bertges (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) has been named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women’s Cross Country Division III South Runner of the Week.

Bertges led the Lions to the Behrend Invitational team title last Saturday.  The junior was the top Division III runner, crossing the finish line at 19:43.7 for third place.  She was also tabbed as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women’s cross country Runner of the Week on Monday.

Behrend will be back in action on September 29 at the Dickinson Invitational.  Start time is 11 a.m.
