Bio
Jeff Haft is in his sixth year as an assistant athletic trainer at Behrend. Haft deals with the medical needs of the student-athletes for all 21 varsity sports.
Haft came to Behrend in 2009 after graduating from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y. with a master of science in sports administration. While at Canisius, Haft was a graduate assistant with the Division I men's ice hockey team. He also interned with the Gotham City/R2B2 Racing NHRA Nitro Funny Car team driven by Melanie Troxel.
Haft earned his undergraduate degree from Mercyhurst College with a bachelors of science in sports medicine, Haft has previous experience with both Mercyhurst Division I hockey programs, USA Hockey MID-AM District, as well as the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League. In addition, he spent two summers with a Professional Baseball Athletic Trainer’s Society Internship with the Detroit Tigers AA Affiliate Erie SeaWolves.
A native of Erie, Pa., is currently an active member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Pennsylvania Athletic Trainer’s Society (PATS) and was recently named the Erie County Delegate to PATS.
