Bowling Set to Host Inaugural Grapevine Classic

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team will open the season by hosting the Inaugural Grapevine Bowling Classic on Saturday and Sunday at Eastland Bowl.
Schedule of Events
* Saturday, October 12th: Five matches of traditional games, 10 a.m.
* Sunday, October 13th: Five single-baker format games, 9 a.m.
Penn State Behrend News & Notes
* The Lions return six players along with welcoming one newcomer
* The roster contains two seniors, one junior, three sophomores and one freshman
* Steven Benke begins his first season as the head bowling coach
* Last season, Behrend went 11-58 overall in 30 baker format matches and 39 traditional
* Brianna Lundy (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) led the team with a 182.21 traditional average and a 17.01 average in baker format
* Lundy was named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) All-Conference First Team, becoming the first Behrend player to receive this recognition
