ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend baseball starting pitcher Phil Myers (DuBois, PA/DuBois Central Catholic) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 20.

Myers picked up his second win of the season, throwing a complete game shutout in the Lions' second game of their double header against Waynesburg on Thursday. He went seven strong innings, giving up only six hits and no walks while striking out seven.

The Lions return to action at home tomrrow against Thiel. First pitch is at 2 p.m.
