MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team got the game-winning run in the ninth inning to defeat Allegheny 5-4 in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Key Moments:
* Behrend pulled out a 5–4 road win after scoring the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning
* Thomas Nicely recorded his 100th hit, the game winning, in the ninth to score Silvio Ionadi for the eventual game winner
* After four scoreless innings, Behrend broke through in the fifth, scoring three runs on key RBI hits by Ionadi and Dylan Barnes, plus a sacrifice fly from Joey Fazzone
* The Lions extended their lead to 4–0 in the sixth when Cayden Turner tripled home Tyler Burick
