STUEBENVILLE, Ohio – The Behrend baseball team registered a 15-6 win over Franciscan in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.

Key Moments:
* Tyler Burick and Silvio Ionadi each smacked a two-run homer to help the Lions take an 8-2 lead after the second inning
* The lead grew to 10-2 after the third after a two RBI single from David Gibson to score Dylan Barnes and Ionadi
* The Lions added two more in the fifth and three in the seventh to finish with 15 runs on 15 hits
* Nearly half of Behrend's hits were extra-base, four doubles, a triple and two home runs
* Cayden Turner led with four hits with three RBIs and two runs
* Burick added a triple to the day to make it two hits and four RBIs
* Ethan Tinker started the game and earned the win, pitching 4.2 innings and allowing six hits
