Season-High Shooting From Deep Helps Men's Basketball to 20-Point Win

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team won its sixth straight game, defeating Carlow 70-50 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

Noteworthy:

* The win keeps Behrend unscathed in conference play at 9-0
* The Lions drained a season-high 12 triples behind their second-best shooting performance at 42.9 percent from behind the arc
* Behrend never trailed in the contest, jumping out to a 12-0 lead to start
* Carlow got on the board at the 15:03 mark on a Jimmy Giannetta jumper and then pulled within five points with 6:06 remaining
* The Lions took a double-digit lead into the locker rooms and started the second half on a 26-9 run
* Matt McDonough led all scorers with 22 points and five assists
* Shawn Mason tied his career high with five three pointers for 15 points
* Mason Blankenberg was third player with double-digit points with 11
* Behrend held a 36-24 advantage on the boards
