Meehl Named to NSCAA Scholar All-East Region Team

ERIE, Pa. – After being named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Great Lakes third team, Penn State Behrend men’s soccer senior midfielder Aaron Meehl (North East, PA/North East) has been chosen to the Scholar All-East Region Team.

Meehl was recognized on the third team for both his athletic and academic accomplishments. He carries a 3.38 grade-point average and is majoring in biology.

Meehl scored six goals and dished out four assists for 16 points this past season, helping the Lions to win their fifth Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) championship and earn the conference’s bid to the NCAA tournament.
