ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend sophomore goalkeeper Colton Smith (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was named the ECAC South Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 13.

Smith was named to the Blue Devil Classic All-Tournament team, making 11 saves in two games while he led the Lions to a tournament championship with a 1-0-1 record. He made five saves in a 4-2 win over Fredonia on Friday and then added six more saves in a 0-0 tie against Buffalo State the following day.

Behrend is back in action at home as they take on Allegheny Friday night at 7 p.m.
