FREDONIA, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team sits in first place out of seven teams with a score of 580.5 after day one of the Fredonia Blue Devil Invite on Friday night.
Key Moments:
* Behrend won three events on the day, including the 200 free relay team that set a new Fredonia pool record
* Isaac Stoeckle, Zach Turner, Aaron DiFilippo, and Anthony Tumino set a new recored with a time of 1:24.27 for first place
* The foursome broke the record set by the Lions back in 2018
* Stoeckle, Will Perham, Ryan Okey and Tumino were victorious in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:27.40
* Perham was the lone individual winner, touching first in the 200 IM with a season-best time of 1:56.31
* Tumino and Stoeckle tied for second in the 50 free, both clocking in at 21.03 and both season-best times
* Brady Meyer placed sixth overall and first on the team in the 500 freestyle in a season-best time of 5:02.98
