Behrend Men Keep Lead at SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Championships; Stoeckle Breaks 100 Back Record
The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team won three events and broke one team record on day three of the 2026 SUNYAC Championships at the Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College on Friday night.
BUFFALO, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team won three events and broke one team record on day three of the 2026 SUNYAC Championships at the Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College on Friday night.

Noteworthy:
* Isaac Stoeckle is a repeat champion and a new team recorded holder in the 100 backstroke
* Stoeckle broke a 12-year old record held by Hall of Famer Dan Simon, touching in an NCAA 'B' cut time of 48.20
* Stoeckle not only set the team record, but the conference and meet records
* Glenn Fowkes finished third in the 100 backstroke (50.90) for Behrend
* Will Perham claimed his fourth straight individual title in the 100 breaststroke
* Perham touched first in 56.01, followed by Evan Tritt in fourth (58.38)
* In the 200 free, Anthony Tumino placed fourth in the finals with a time of 1:44.77
* Ryan Okey led the Lions in the 100 butterfly with a fifth-place finish (51.37)
* In the 400 IM, Brady Meyer had the fastest time Behrend for sixth place (4:21.05)
* Kyle Malec was the second individual to break a team record, scoring 358.35 on the one-meter board for fourth place
* The final first place medals went to the 400 medley relay consisting of Stoeckle, Perham, Okey and Tumino
* The foursome won with a time of 3:24.52

* Behrend returns to action tomorrow for the finals of the SUNYAC Championships. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. with finals at 5 p.m.
