May Named AMCC Athlete of the Week
Penn State Behrend men’s tennis player Mitchell May has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's tennis player Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week.
May helped the Lions remain undefeated in AMCC action with a pair of wins of the weekend. He went undefeated in singles and doubles play against Mt. Aloysius on Saturday and Penn State Altoona on Sunday. May posted a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles vs. the Mounties and then earned a 6-3, 7-5 decision in the third spot against Altoona.
He also joined Brent McFarland for two doubles victories at No. 2, both by a score of 8-2.
Behrend is back in action on Friday against Medaille at 4 p.m.
