ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend track and field athlete Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) will be competing at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday, May 28. The event is held at the Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Smith will be competing in the men's high jump event. Smith is currently ranked in 3rd place in the nation with a jump of 2.08m. This will be Smith's second NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship. In 2019, he finished in 13th place with a leap of 1.98m.
