Three Program Records Set on First Day of Outdoor Regionals
The first day of the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships saw the Penn State Behrend men’s track & field team break two program records on Wednesday.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The first day of the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships saw the Penn State Behrend men's track & field team break three program records on Wednesday.
Key Moments:
* Freshman Carter Tobin (Irwin, PA/Norwin) broke an 11-year-old program record with a personal best time of 10.52 in the 100m prelims for second place to advance to tomorrow's finals
* The previous 100m record was set by Malik Moffett with a time of 10.61 at the ECAC Championships in 2014
* Brandon Konieczki (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) surpassed his own long jump record of 23-7 ½ that he tallied at the Walsh Invitational earlier this year
* Konieczki scored a personal record distance of 24-1 ¾ to win the event and now puts himself in eighth in the Division III rankings
* Tobin and Konieczki were also a part of another record as they teamed with Marshall Nock (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell), Jake Egizio (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) in the 4x1 relay prelims, setting a new school record of 41.36 for fourth place to advance to tomorrow's finals
* The previous program record time was recorded earlier this season at the John Papa Invitational by the team of Tobin, Egizio, Konieczki, and Dominic Marino (Girard, PA/Girard)
* Marino registered a career best time of 15.55 for 18th in the 110m hurdles prelims
* Dan Dabrowski (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) found the podium with a third-place throw of 165-7 in the discus, while Alex Cotton (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) placed 19th (133-8)
* In the javelin, Aiden Grieneisen (Brockway, PA/Brockway Area) finished fifth with a toss of 194-3, followed by Charlie Motter's (Oil City, PA/Oil City) personal-best throw of 170-10 for 15th place
* The 4x4 relay team of Jake Nardozza (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford), Drew Knight (Butler, PA/Butler), Aidan Reinsel (North East, PA/North East), and Aiden Seeman (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) crossed the finish line in 18th with a time of 3:32.82
