Penn State Behrend men’s volleyball junior Joseph Sciscio (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South) earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Defensive Player of the Week for the period running from March 31-April 6.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball junior Joseph Sciscio (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks South) earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Defensive Player of the Week for the period running from March 31-April 6.

Sciscio averaged 1.29 blocks per set in a 3-1 week for the Lions.

He tallied 14 blocks assists and four solo for 18 blocks total. In the win over Grove City, Sciscio posted eight block assists and one solo. He also added 12 kills and hit .372 last week.

The men's volleyball takes on No. 2 Penn State Altoona in the AMCC Semifinals this Friday, hosted by Buffalo State.
