Sciscio Named AMCC Defensive Athlete of the Week

ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend men's volleyball middle hitter Joseph Sciscio has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Sciscio is earning the honor for a second straight week. The senior led with 14 total blocks and added 14 kills in a 2-1 week for The Lions. Sciscio registered seven kills and three blocks in the win over Hiram, while posting six blocks and four kills in the win over Geneva.

For the week, he averaged 1.56 blocks per set.

Behrend is back in action tomorrow against Houghton at 7 p.m.
