Men’s Water Polo Welcomes Gannon For Final Home Contest
The Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team will plays its final home game of the season against Gannon on Saturday, Nov. 11.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team will plays its final home game of the season against Gannon on Saturday, Nov. 11. Gametime is set for 11:30 a.m. Following their home contest, the Lions will head to Mercyhurst for a 4:30 p.m. matchup with the Lakers.

* Last weekend, the Lions went 2-2 in Rock Island, Ill., scoring back-to-back victories over Connecticut College and Washington & Jefferson
* Senior Eli Anderson (Encinitas, CA/Dan Dieguito) delivered five goals and five assists against the Camels on Saturday, while Ryan Carpico (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen) added three scores
* On Sunday, Eugene Kruger (Pleasanton, CA/Foothill) notched a team-high three goals. Carpico and and Connor Bradley (Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen) each chipped in two scores
* Anderson recorded two assists and two steals for the Lions
* Goalkeeper Ethan Friedman (Valley Center, CA/Valley Center) tallied a combined 19 saves in the two wins
* Friedman ranked third in saves for the week in the MPSF with 146 stops, while Chase Cordon (Canyon Lake, CA/Temescal Canyon) and Anderson ranked fourth and fifth in steals (28 steals, 25 steals)
* For the week, Kruger dished out 26 assists for fifth in the MPSF rankings

* Gannon enters Saturday's contest with a 9-9 overall record, falling to Salem (21-13) at the WWPA Morgantown Classic last Sunday
* The Golden Knights finished with a record of 2-1 at the WWPA Morgantown Classic
* In the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA), Alexandros Kotskar ranks fourth with 71 goals this season, while Matthew Harkrader leads the conference in sprint wins (42)
* Goalkeeper Marco Alvaro is second in the WWPA in save-percentage (.493) and third in saves (226)
