Eight Behrend Men’s Water Polo Student-Athletes Garner MPSF All-Academic Honors
The Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team had eight student-athletes named to the 2025 6-8 Sports All-Academic Scholar-Athletes Team announced by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team had eight student-athletes named to the 2025 6-8 Sports All-Academic Scholar-Athletes Team announced by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).
Will Aikens, Robert Bakh, Atticus Bowman, Freddy Browarski, Ryan Carpico, Dylan Hayslip, Karol Nowak, and Adrian Tolczyk all earned this honor.
Aikens, Bowman and Hayslip are all engineering majors, while Browarski, Nowak and Tolczyk are studying finance. Bakh is majoring in computer science and Carpico in international business.
In order to be nominated to the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received
4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport
