Jacob Parsons Named AMCC Athlete of the Week

Penn State Behrend men’s cross country runner Jacob Parsons was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week, announced on Monday.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's cross country runner Jacob Parsons (Titusville, PA/Maplewood) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week, announced on Monday.

Parsons lead the team to a fifth-place finish at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College this past Saturday. The sophomore improved his time from the first meet of the season by 1:12 to post a time of 26:35.1 earning him a 19th place finish out of 237 total runners.
