Men's Cross Country Captures AMCC Championship

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team captured its sixth straight and 17th overall AMCC Championship with 25 total points at the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships on Saturday.

* Behrend earned a low-score of 25 to oust Alfred State (38) and Penn State Altoona in third (77)
* The Lions claimed seven of the top 10 times on Saturday
* Freshman Ethan Vaughan led Behrend with a third-place finish in his first AMCC Championship
* Vaughan ran the 8K course in 28:21.5
* Peyton Brewer was next to cross the finish line, taking fourth in 28:55.8
* In fifth place was Nathan Bertolo, who clocked in at 29:01.6 for the muddy course
* Alex Haskins, Aidan Reinsel, Lucas Boyd and Michael Werner were the final four finishers for Behrend
* Haskins was seventh (29:22.8), Reinsel was eighth (29:29.3), Boyd was ninth (29:50.5) and Werner capped the Top 10 in 30:03.1
* The Top 10 runners were named to the AMCC All-Conference Team
* Alfred State had the top two runners, led by individual winner Christian Wescott in 28:11.0 and Max Knight as runner up in 28:18.3
