McNany, Louis Notch AMCC Players of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend softball senior Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and men's tennis freshman Graham Louis (Erie, PA/Fairview) were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Players of the Week in their respective sports.

McNany recorded a hit in all six games last week, including two or more hits in five of the six games. She went 12-for-20, hitting .600 to go with a 1.100 slugging percentage. McNany smacked five doubles, one triple and her fifth home run of the season, while scoring seven runs, driving in five runs and stealing a pair of bases.

Louis went undefeated in both singles and doubles action this past weekend. He only allowed two set points in all three singles matches. Louis tallied two wins at No. 3 singles and another at No. 4. He competed at No. 1 doubles, winning all three matches by a score of 6-2.

The softball team is back in action this Wednesday at home against Carlow at 3 and 5 p.m., while the men's tennis team competes as the second seed at the AMCC Tournament on April 26-27.
