Behrend Softball Takes on Pitt-Bradford in AMCC First Round
The Penn State Behrend softball team earned the No. 4 seed for the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships this weekend in Bradford, Pa. The Lions will face No. 5 Pitt-Bradford on Friday at 12 p.m. in the opening round.

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend softball team earned the No. 4 seed for the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships this weekend in Bradford, Pa. The Lions will face No. 5 Pitt-Bradford on Friday at 12 p.m. in the opening round.

* The Panthers secured the No. 5 seed with an AMCC record of 7-9
* Pitt-Bradford has a 7-7 record when playing at home
* The Panthers are on a three-game winning streak, sweeping Hilbert in the final two games of the regular season
* Pitt-Bradford is led offensively by Krislyn Clement, who ranks third in the AMCC with a .441 batting average
* Clement has hit five home runs, 13 doubles, and three triples on her way to recording 30 RBI and 16 runs scored
* Clement also leads her team in the circle, with five wins, 37 strikeouts and a 5.95 ERA.
* Sara Stroup is right behind her with a .383 batting average, which includes six home runs, 27 RBI and 26 runs scored
