Behrend Wrestling Earns Three Victories, Drops Dual to St. John Fisher

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team fell to St. John Fisher 32-16 in non-conference dual-meet action on Saturday night in the Junker Center.

Noteworthy:

*  St. John Fisher tallied its fourth straight win over the Lions
* Behrend won three bouts on the day (133, 184, 285)
* The Cardinals took a 26-6 lead after 174 to put the match away
* Evan Whiteside tallied the first six points for the Lions, earing his ninth fall of the season
* At 133, Whiteside pinned regionally-ranked Derek Bernardino in first period (2:26)
* Louie DeJulia posted an 8-0 major decision over Charlie Rossner at 184 to add four points
* Heavyweight Matt Caldwell used a reversal on Jackson Burns to get on the scoreboard in the third period
* The reversal sent Burns to the mat, causing him to injury default and award Caldwell with six points and the win
