Wrestling Competes at JCC Open; DeJulia, Lomonte Place

JAMESTOWN, NY – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team competed at the Jamestown Community College Open on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Behrend had 12 wrestlers compete and get key victories along with two place winners
* At 197, Louie DeJulia took third place for the Lions
* DeJulia registered three pins and one major decision to finish with a 4-1 record for nine points
* DeJulia tallied back-to-back wins before falling to Tyson Clear of Edinboro, before bouncing back to post two pins for third
* Angelo Lomonte also placed for Behrend, taking fifth at 125
* After falling in his first match, Lomonte won three straight including a fall in 44 seconds and getting a 4-3 decision
* Lomonte finished with a 4-2 record for fifth overall

* The Lions are back in action on Friday at Mercyhurst. Match begins at 6 p.m.
