Lions Ranked Eighth in Great Lakes Region

ERIE, Pa. – The accolades keep coming for the Penn State Behrend women's soccer team.
The Lions (15-5-1) are ranked eighth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Great Lakes Region poll, released on Tuesday. This is the first time this season Behrend has appeared in the rankings.
This comes on the heels of the Lions winning the 2013 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship. Behrend defeated Pitt-Bradford 2-1 on Saturday to clinch the conference crown.
The Lions and coach Patrick O'Driscoll will now take their six game winning streak to upstate New York, where they will battle Ithaca in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament on Saturday, November 16 at 11 a.m.
