ERIE, Pa. - The Messiah women's soccer team scored two second-half goals to defeat Penn State Behrend 3-0 in the season-opening game of the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

* Hannah Adair tallied a goal and an assist for the Falcons in the win
* Although Messiah controlled play for much of the first half, the Falcons could muster only a lone goal
* Junior midfielder Mia Libby tallied the game winner just 11 minutes into the contest
