Lions Compete at NCAA Outdoor T&F Championships

LA CROSSE, WI – Penn State Behrend track & field junior Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan) and senior Rachel Pell (Elizabeth, PA/Elizabeth Forward) competed at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse on Thursday afternoon.

Yenchik, who was seeded 19^th coming into the competition, hit the height of 3.50m on her first attempt and then could not clear 3.65m on her next three tries to place 18^th overall (11-05.75).

Pell was set to compete in the preliminaries of the 400m hurdles entering as the 16^th seed, but did not finish the race due to a hamstring injury.
