Behrend Adds Another Record-Setting Weekend as Lions Compete in Reggie Thomas Collegiate Classic
The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team took part in the Reggie Thomas Collegiate Classic hosted by Tiffin on Saturday.
TIFFIN, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team took part in the Reggie Thomas Collegiate Classic hosted by Tiffin on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) won the 3000m by setting a personal best in the event, registering a time of 10:20.62
* Emily Ferrans (Bradfordwoods, PA/North Allegheny) also set a new best in the 3000m, crossing at 11:54.67 for 11th place
* Nola also clocked in at 5:29.30 in the mile, clinching 12th place
* Victoria Dieterich (Oakmont, PA/Riverview) set a personal record in the 60m, finishing in 9.04, good for 11th place on Saturday
* Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) had a fifth place finish in the 400m, nearly breaking her PR she set last week, crossing the finish line in 1:03.37
* Laffan also captured 20th out of 59 in the 200m with a time of 27.98
* Both Brianna Downing (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) and Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) broke their PR's in the shot put with marks of 8.04m and 8.02m, respectively
