Nola, Seevers Named CSAC Track Athletes of the Week
Penn State Behrend men’s track athlete Jason Seevers and women’s track athlete Olivia Nola were named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Athletes of the Week.
ERIE, Pa. –Penn State Behrend men's track athlete Jason Seevers (North East, PA/North East) and women's track athlete Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) were named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Athletes of the Week.
Seevers ran a season-best time in the 800 meters at Ashland University this weekend, clocking in at 1:58.04 to place 13th overall. That mark is good for second-best in the CSAC this season. Seevers also has the fourth-fastest time in the 1500 meters this season with a mark of 4:19.25.
Nola broke a 21-year-old program record, running 4:43.52 to win the 1500 meters at Ashland University. That is the new top time in the CSAC outdoor season. Nola also has season-best times in the 800 meters (2:21.90) and 5000 meters (17:54.72).
The Lions return to action this weekend at the CSAC Championships hosted by Gallaudet at Hotchkiss Field & Thomas O. Berg Track.
