Women’s Indoor Track & Field Finishes Sixth At Championships
The Penn State Behrend women’s indoor track & field team finished sixth out of 10 teams with 30 total points at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships.
BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team finished sixth out of 10 teams with 30 total points at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Key Moments:
* Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) was the top finisher for the Lions, running a personal-best time of 11:06.12 in the 3000m for fifth place
* Fellow distance runners Bethany Litwiler (Reynolds, PA/Reynolds) (Ninth/11:18.60) and Baylee Dernar (Wattsburg, PA/Seneca) (13th/11:38.01) also secured career-best times in the 3000m
* Jaade Duncan (Turner Falls, MA/Turner Falls) earned a pair of sixth-place finishes in the 60m finals and 200m finals with times of 8.07 and 27.10
* Alivia Hetrick (Waterford, PA/Waterford) (Mile/5:47.92) and Abby Major (Erie, PA/McDowell) (800m/2:41.41) tallied personal-best times for 15th and 16th in their respective events
* Freshman Braylee Lukehart (Reynoldsville, PA/DuBois Area) placed 14th in the shot put with a distance of 32-7
* The 4x4 relay team of Rachel Skoczlas (Bridgeville, PA/Canon-McMillan), Ella McGowan (Erie, PA/Waterford), Carly Amon (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview), and Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) completed the two-day championships with fifth-place time of 4:25.54
* The top-3 finishers in each event were named to the All-Conference Team
